It's really a great time. With the early register & pay discount, we already have a lot of cars signed up for this event. A really nice mix of cars which makes it really fun. Cars registered so far: 2004 Saab 9-3ss Aero 2000 Saab 9-3 2001 Porsche 996 GT2 1996 Camaro Z28 2003 Corvette Z06 2002 Corvette 1995 Impala SS 1993 Camaro Z28 1989 Mustang LX 2003 Corvette Z06 1995 Firehawk 2006 Audi A3 1965 FFR Cobra 2000 Camaro Z28 2003 Saab 9-3 2000 BMW M5 2001 Trans Am 2005 Mitsubishi EVO 1993 Nissan 240sx 2002 Corvette Z06 Todd
Great! I don't have it listed but I will probably bring my Accord as well. I'm amazed at how much fun I can have in the daily driver  Todd
Checking with my insurance guy right now. Would give me a reason to replace the RE92s with some better meats.

 Updated list: 2004 Saab 9-3ss Aero 2000 Saab 9-3 2001 Porsche 996 GT2 1996 Camaro Z28 2003 Corvette Z06 2002 Corvette 1995 Impala SS 1993 Camaro Z28 1989 Mustang LX 2003 Corvette Z06 1995 Firehawk 2006 Audi A3 1965 FFR Cobra 2000 Camaro Z28 2003 Saab 9-3 2000 BMW M5 2001 Trans Am 2005 Mitsubishi EVO 1993 Nissan 240sx 2002 Corvette Z06 1991 Honda CRX si 1994 Honda Del Sol 2004 GTO 1998 Camaro Z28 2004 Subaru STi 1995 BMW M3 Todd
If all goes well, the RS will dominate all! I need to make sure the car will be ready for the track before I sign up... Muhahahaha. Christian
Pretty close, but not quite that fast (in stock form). I can hit 140-141 (completely stock), but stock Z06's can see over 150. These numbers have EVERYTHING to do with how well you execute turn 9. Good turn 9 = fast speed at the end of the straight. Bad 9 = much slower on the straight. I've seen around a 5-8 MPH difference depending on 9. Best thing is this is the relaxing part of the track. 9-10 & 10-1 allow you to breath, relax a bit and loosen your grip on the wheel. From 3-9 you’re plenty busy.
I'm going to try to get in on this as well. I hope I can get my sway bars installed and dialed in by then
New list... It's filling up fast. And a great variety of cars too! 2004 Saab 9-3ss Aero 2000 Saab 9-3 2001 Porsche 996 GT2 1996 Camaro Z28 2003 Corvette Z06 2002 Corvette 1995 Impala SS 1993 Camaro Z28 1989 Mustang LX 2003 Corvette Z06 1995 Firehawk 2006 Audi A3 1965 FFR Cobra 2000 Camaro Z28 2003 Saab 9-3 2000 BMW M5 2001 Trans Am 2005 Mitsubishi Evo VIII 1993 Nissan 240sx 2002 Corvette Z06 1991 Honda CRX si 1994 Honda Del Sol 2004 GTO 1998 Camaro Z28 2004 Subaru STi 1995 BMW M3 2005 GTO 1997 Camaro Z28 2004 BMW M3 2008 Mistsubishi Evo X 1996 BMW 318ti 1999 BMW M Roadster 1991 Saab 9000 1999 Camaro SS 2004 GTO 2006 Ford GT 1987 Supra Todd
n00b question: Is there a minimum grade/quality tire recommended, particularly for a 07 WRX with largely stock suspension/brakes? Thanks in advance, Sean [pulls flame retardant suit on!]
Only requirement really would be that they are speed rated appropriately for the speeds you would expect to see. I suspect that your stock tires are fine although I'm not sure what they are. Assuming a stock WRX (not Sti), I'd guess you would see about 125 on the front straight. Hope you can make it! Todd
I updated the list of cars above. Please note that this event is filling up rather quickly. Another 15 spots or so & we'll probably be close to closing down registration. Hope to see a few more of you guys join us. Todd
Still not a problem and there are some registered that aren't paid yet. It won't be too long and I will let everyone know exactly what the limit will be and then it will be first come (registered AND paid), first served. I did have a 2002 WRX register the other day. Maybe one of you guys? I'll update the list above. Todd

TTT - Some spots filled but a couple of others opened up. And FYI, we will have a couple of nice things for participants including a DVD full of pictures (& hopefully videos) from the day. Todd
This event is now full. If you would like to be on the waiting list you can go ahead and register but please don't pay unless I let you know that a spot has opened up. Thanks to everyone from this site that signed up. We are going to have a great day. See you at the track! Todd
