Transmission Cocktail in stock at GrimmSpeed

    We are now carrying all the ingredients for the smooth shifting/no grinding transmission lube cocktail for the 5 speed manual trannys.

    Thousands of people have used this recipe with great results. Subarus are notorious for sometimes having hard times shifting into 2nd and 3rd gears...this solves that problem.

    Ingredients are:
    Redline Lightweight Shockproof - 1 quart
    Pennzoil Synchromesh - 1 quart
    Castrol Hypoy C 80W90 Gear Oil - 1.5 quarts

    Cooking instructions:
    1. Drain tranny of old fluid
    2. Pour Shockproff in
    3. Pour Synchromesh in
    4. Pour 1 quart of Castrol and in then slowly top off with the 2nd quart
    5. Go drive like a bat out of hell and feel the smoothness!

    Total comes to $34.96

    hell, it takes 10 min tops to do!

    On a side note, is there any truth to the castrol hypoy c breaking down the syncros faster than stock fluid??

    we can definitely do the fluid change at the shop for anyone. its not going to be free but it will be pretty cheap.

    Thats a good deal. You can chase around all day trying to get all that fluid for about the same price.

    we really arent open any set hours. i'm here right now then i'll be here again tonight from 7-9ish if you want to stop by. a few other members are stopping by around 7 as well to pick some up.

    yeah honestly we're are only making a few dollars on the whole package because i have to buy the stuff retail. its more of just a way for grimmspeed to make it more convenient for you guys and gals to get.
