This is how my latest custom exhaust invention sounds on my 2006 Tribeca.

Ha! Love it! I've never heard a noise like that come out of a Tribeca, it sounds so pissed off!
(shoulda seen me when the video poped up, didnt know my volume was all the way up and i almost pooped my pants when u reved it up!!!)

 

wow.. tiring work carrying that camera.. all that heavy breathing I had to turn down teh sound so the wife didnt think I was looking at porn...

 

Bending down and touching your toes is hard work when your as buff as me.

Nice. I laughed cause I was expecting to hear some boxer rumble. The six sounds equally awesome though.

 

I figured I would try this out before switching mufflers, I think I'll leave it this way for a while.

 

IMO that high pitch sound is not cool for such a big SUV.....needs a deep tone sound like a V8 range rover.

 

That just cannot happen with a flat 6 that revs to 7500. It doesnt have a v8, its a subaru.

I have an 08 tribeca and have an appointment this week to have some 08 GR sedan perrin mufflers installed.
I'm excited to find out what the 3.6 sounds like uncorked
