You could still use the other parts like rims and trim at junk yards. Now all of that will rot at land fills.

was just able to see the video at work. I have a mac and it would not work. Pretty crazy stuff. That is dumb that they are crashing cars like that, it would not stop anyone from street racing. What they should do is build race tracks and i am not talking about drag racing, but something like full course racing tracks.

Not likely. They melt down cars to reuse the metal.

Possible, but i bet it is easier to just dump them and not care about the environment.

Did I say I think they melt them down? No, I said they melt them down. Have you looked at the cost of metals. There is money to be made in scrap. Do you always just want to fight about everything or what?

Yup, go look at what aluminum costs. When they came to junk my legacy turbo, the driver of the truck said, "Um, where's the wheels?" I told them I had them but I was thinking about keeping them. He said, "Oh, I need those." (he had a flatbed truck) The aluminum is worth alot.

Yeah i know that. Thats one reason why aluminum hoods are more expensive.

I can ask moderators to reset my post count if that will make you feel better.
