Trunk swap- wingless JBP for JBP STi trunk

Yeah, yeah....I've heard the differences of opinions on the wingless vs.STi wing...but I want one. So, no bashing.

Anyone in MN want to swap? My trunk is in great shape and debadged, only the WRX remains.

 

its gonna be impossible for you because only the STi came in JBP. The wrx has a different black.

 

On the contrary, my 04 wrx is JBP. I believe they switched wrx's to a different black on the 05 models.

(I have a spoiler and some scratches on the trunk. I'm not interested in trading for an STi trunk. Just talking...)

 

Huh!?! I'm sorry, you're mistaken, both WRX and STi had the JBP option in 2004. My paint code is 18L, also known as Java Black Pearl. You can locate the color code in the engine compartment by the drivers side strut mount. The different years such as 2003 and 2005 WRX have a different black.

...and to clarify. I have the wingless trunk, I want the STi spoiler and trunk. yes, I want the grocery cart look...lol

 

oh really? i didnt know that....that's cool then. i thought the STi were the only ones with that color.

The odds must be good as I too am rockin' the wingless look on my JBP W.

 

I traded my wingless 02 WRB trunk with a WRB 06 STi up at firestone

that's not an IMO. that's just plain well known fact.

 

And I put that wingless trunk on my '06 STi and got a mines spoiler and glued it on the arse end. Now if the dam weather would just let up a bit so my WRB car would look less CGM cause of all the salt I could put up some pics.
