I've heard people asking about the #43 on my windshield. I wasn't aware it was Ken Blocks car number until I saw his first Vid with the '06 STi. I dunno if many remembers but I attended a drift day, DDay23 at Shawano WI back in August of '08. I was the 43rd car to register and that's how I got those numbers.

I find it ironic that it just happens to be the SAME numbers as Mr. Block. Sorry I didn't steal his numbers, they where givien to me at the Drift event and I decided to keep them. I do have the DD23 sticker on the back window of the hatch from that event. That is the truth behind this number. ;-)

I thought you were Richard Petty (the guy who really made the number 43 prominent in motorsports).

I was always #777 at the rally-x, but we were able to choose our own numbers for the most part. I wonder if anyone has taken my number up there yet. I still use it down here for auto-x and at the Subaru Challenges.

So does that also mean you'll be the 43 person inline at lunch? LOL

I guess some people look better wearing numbers than others. I guess at some point you're gonna have to confront the truth and tell people you're the real 43! LOL
