Turbo Audi at autox event this weekend

He beat out a Porsche 911 Turbo, racing Vettes and a Ford GT on the straight away - 140 MPH for the 3/10 of a mile.

those audis are suuuuuuper slow stock. i test drove one on my street a few years ago but this video makes me wish i bought it! it had full suspension and ran like a swiss watch but it was just dog slow. but if a 35r makes it take off like that!!!? damn

 

Is that one of those 5 cylinder 20v 90's? My buddy told me that those are the same blocks that they use in their diesel engines or something...so it can hold a **** ton of boost. I could be completely wrong (and most likely am)...but who knows. Maybe someone else can chime in.

 

I have always had a secret love for those 5cyl audis, they have more vaccuum lines than horsepower but nonetheless, I love them

I don't think anybody is even driving that thing, they got thrown out from it being so d*** fast.
