Ok here's the deal. I really wanna do a catback exhaust and AP stage 2. BUT i don't have the money right now but will have a fairly high paying job in 3 weeks when i graduate. I'm thinking i'll put it on my credit card and pay it off when i start getting paid. What do you guys think? Dumb move or do i need to just sack up and do it?

Second part of the question Here's what i'm thinking Invidia V3 dp and Titanium tip catback. Anyone have any complaints about this set up? And finally where to shop rallysport direct looks like it has a pretty good deal on Invidia turbo back set ups. And where to go for the AP? Thanks guys.

Edit: Well i just checked out the Cobb web site and i noticed their Stage 2 set up is like 1600 roughly. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

    as for the financial part...

do it. i would not suggest that to all people, but you seem to be a person of responsibility. so as long as you are only going to be running a balance for a couple months, its not really going to hurt you that much. also you will easily be able to find a cc with 0% interest for the 6-12 months, which would really make your dilemma a non issue.

    as for the parts,
buy used, especially the AP. Just have to make sure its unmarried and it will automatically save you 100-150 right off that bat.

Ok so i've been browsing around and i've seen the Invidia ti exhaust and then there's the stainless exhaust. Is the Ti one really worth the extra 300?

no. especially since your strap for cash at this moment. that extra 300 could go to something better. like sway bars.

Yeah, the ti is light but crazy expensive!
If you have some money (as in you could afford half the stuff now and avoid going in the hole) I think the invidia hooks up to the stock catback.
Also, I think Sogonerg has one sti AP for sale (06 maybe?) so you might want to pm him about that.

TBE FTW!!! Do it if yur responsible with the visa. You will notice a huge difference in pickup with tbe. Erics car sounded mean with that setup. Go for it fer shizzle but if it was me I wouldn't spend the extra money on the ti. That's money that could go towards the AP.

I have the Invidia G200 w/Ti Tip, it sounds great and if you upgrade the exhaust manifold as well it will give you a nice rumble sound and better TQ as well. Do not get the Full Ti, they are light weight but also will bent or crack easily compared to SS. Just to let you know the G200 Ti Tip is 5in. and 3 in. pipings...FYI the Full Ti is almost 2x the price of G200.

On my short budget I snagged a used Catback system and then went on ebay and bought a down pipe. I have the Megan Racing DP, looks, works, and fits awesome. Super cheap, highly recomend.

The whole system ran me about 350 in the end, can't beat that.
