So... I picked up a 2006 Outback XT with a blown engine.
Where is a good place to purchase a used engine? Or what do you have for sale?
I would like to get this running ASAP.

    Thanks, Todd.

Maybe contact JM Automotive in Osseo? I’ve heard that they sometimes hoard blocks.

Don’t buy used from them unless you think 1qt of oil per tank of gas is is acceptable usage.

That is what mine used after it was built. The 2.0/2.5 hybrid sucked down a quart per fill up.

If they built it to be R-slur proof, thats perfectly acceptable amount of consumption.

For the cost of a good EJ255 build (glances over at the 1UZ Lexus V8 and transmission sitting in the garage...)...
