turbo headgaskets in NA car?

    we had a guy call today at our shop, we are doing headgaskets on his sohc outback, for the external leaking headgasket. he explained how he wanted turbo headgaskets and they crush down the same. i have never heard of this? does this work? haha, if it did, why wouldnt subaru put these in all of their cars

    they work, its the fix for the problem, subaru doesnt wanna admit it is a problem there are a few running around with them, it really does work

    the headgaskets they came out with arent improved at all? i know they have a diff. part # than they use to

    if you take them out of the bag, they are exactly the same, even though the part number has changed, the turbos have alot mor reinforcement around all the problem areas

    ^ 3rik is in parts. thats funky i never new that the turbo gasket was the fix for bad gaskets.

    well they arent the total end all gaskets, but i just know there are a few running around without problems, the absolute fix would be the eleventy million layer DOHC gasket

    ^ and some uber stroker kit to go with it.

    ok, i think this is what our customer wants us to get, anyway you could check to make sure the sti ones are the ones to get?

    its whatever a usual h/g pn# is but ending in 642 instead of 632
