I just put in a VF39 in my WRX and I want to be sure that the coolant and oil lines are working properly. Is there a way to tell if the fluids are circulating? Does anybody know what the surface temperature of the turbo should be?

Can you feel if they are hot when the car is up to temp? Thats a pretty good sign that hot liquids are flowing.

If there is some sort of blockage or a leak it will be easily recognized, lol. You gotta remember that both of these lines are under pressure.

the lines feel hot. just lacking confidence in my install. i just did a ton of work, and have never done anything that involved (VF39, SSAC TMIC, Perrin inlet, fuel pump, injectors, spark plugs). but everything seems good, sounds good.

I'm getting it tuned this week. After that, I'll post a thread with all the details of the project, problems, successes, etc.
