So I sold my factory deck tonite, and was gonna use the money for a new one, I got back down to apple valley, and a buddy of mine was selling an intake from his brothers WRX i talked to the bro on the phone, and it was T-XS. Picked it up for 60 bucks mint condition. I love it huge diff in the 4-6.5k range and i know alot of people dont like aftermarket intakes being the stock supports 300, but i know with T-XS they have done there work, and i am happy.

    Sounds wicked too!

When put mine on, it was a noticable difference in both sound (which has to be heard to appreciated) and acceleration.

I bet the stock box will support over 300whp, but I would guess that the stock inlet pipe will not support the flow.

^^^ that could be? i know that the STi's filter flows more, so maybe a larger diameter pipe "smooth bore" connected to the stock box with the STi's filter could support the 300whp or more?
