Twin Cities (and surrounding area) People!

who is down for the trip to fargo for the meet we are all having on november 20th?

we are going to meet at the cabelas in rogers at/around 11:45 and will be leaving there at 12.

Nope, can't make it. Having something like that on a Friday is difficult.

 

it worked best for alot of people, there was talk of doing it saturday, but more people voted friday.

i tried mnsc.com and nothin came up, is it through NASIOC or something?

what time is the duluth group leavin for the cities n from where

 

i dont know when the duluth guys are leaving or where from, but they want to be in the cities by lunchtime so we can leave and get to tintmasters by 5.

talk to prodriver1 he seems to be the duluth authority on this meet.

i actually kinda wanna get there before 5, im getting some winter/rallyx tires mounted on some spare wheels at tintmasters by my buddy eric (ricetiva) so i would like to get there at like 4-430 if thats ok with you guys.

 

duluth chaps meeting @ proctor ext holiday so anyone who needs e85 can fill up. anyone else (including me) should fill up @ 19th W BP for 93

i can too as long as its near 94 so i dont need to journey off route and we can get on route as soon as we can after the meet up.

its right off 94.

so we (me and my fiance) will be there at 12, thats the very earliest we could be there because she gets off work at 11 and cabelas is exactly 50 minutes away from where we are at.

 

ok I said 12 because its about 4hrs to tintmasters from the norner burbs of the cities and you said you wanted to get to fargo befor 5. I have to pick up my gf in alexandria on the way but that wuill b a in out gone job 10min tops and you guys could keep goin and I could run you down

prodriver if you need me 2 I can meet you north of the cities and lead you down 35 to 694 and over to 94 its very easy.

from where in the twin cities?
I make it from Maple Grove to fargo in under 3 hours

 

you must be movin then cuz isn't it like a 240 mile drive?

 

from maple grove to NDSU is 220 miles, and I usually cruise right around 80ish, so nothing too bad

 

yea I set the cruise at about 76 or so. Figure between the radar detector and being less then 10 over should keep me away from tickets

 

thats exactly what I cruise at, i just figured 80 was easier to say :laugh: and the only real spot I have noticed to watch you speed at is between mile markers 125 and 115, the Todd county sheriff loves to hang out there, haha

 

I got painted by a state trooped just as I came on to 94 from hwy 15 coming from cloud

 

i got tagged in ottertail cty by a state trooper right out of fergus falls,
i'll have to hook up my radar detector for this trip as well.
and mapquest says 3hrs, 59mins, but if we're at 76 i think itll be around 3hrs (+or- 20 mins)

 

agenst states detector is 50/50 alot of the time states use instant on and paint you on sight so yea

 

mine detects that laser tracing thing they use for that.
but i guess it doesnt really make a difference once it starts screaming "LASER!" at you.
