Hey all, tried searching but either my key words are not functional or there is no info. I have an ej255 that has burnt valves on cy #2. after considering a lot of paths to solve this I have decided to fix what I have instead of buying new or engine swapping. I am looking for a shop to send the head to for cleaning and possible valve seat fixing. the engine only has 100K and still pulls really well considering its really only running on 3 cylinders. My plan is to have the head looked over and I will replace the valves that are bad and keep everything else as is. I'll be doing all new gaskets and timing belt. Years ago I had a VW diesel block worked on at Wagmon Bros in North East so i will call them and see what they say but Id rather spend my money with a local Subaru focused garage. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you.
