Home opener was disappointing to be at (damn Ken Griffey Jr. ), but last night was fun to watch. Discuss all things Twins in here! **please leave the "baseball is boring" comments out of here, if you don't like baseball why are you clicking on a thread about a baseball team anyway?**
Last night's game was a pleasant surprise! Let's hope we can keep up the intensity all season and the bullpen stays healthy.
Wait till next April when it's snowing the first 5 home games  Don't get me wrong, I love outdoor baseball (and football), but come on... RETRACTABLE ROOF! We shoulda taken some cues from Miller Park.
Twins I just wanted to say GO TWINS I was happy we signed Crede and I think he is going to be a great help down the stretch! He could easily be a 25hr 100 rbi guy for us
Ain't gunna argue with you there, although I do like a fixed stadium design much more then a retractable roof design. A little cold is good for people (not saying I'm going to those games, though ).
no silly, Upper Club “All You Can Eat” seats plus unlimited: HOT DOGS - NACHOS - PEANUTS SOFT PRETZELS - POPCORN FOUNTAIN SODA & WATER TOO!
One of my buddies got a bunch of tickets to the last regular season game in the dome too...it will be sad to be blown out of the dome for the last time
FYI: afternoon game today, starts at 12:10. If you don't want to pay for mlb.tv you can kind of watch it at http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2009_04_09_seamlb_minmlb_1&mode=gameday
I just ordered a bunch of tickets for october 4th as well. I think they should of done the retractable roof too, but I am happy to see open air baseball coming to mn next year. we should get a crowd together and goto kc, or something for a game there vs. the twins!
just left, went with TonyM and his girld and a friend by far the best seats i have been in for a baseball game. In the old front row be hind home, now like the 3rd cuz they added those two rows with waitress services.
I went to the game on Saturday. Since when can Krubel hit? What did he bat, 225 last year? I'll have to stop making fun of him as the worst DH in baseball at this rate. Still think the twins have their heads up their asses for not signing bonds for a 1 year minimum salary contract last year.
Show me another starting DH with a lower OPS last year? Kubel busted through with a .805 (career high!). The one thing that's never in short supply is old power hitters to DH. A 25 year old DH is kind of embarrassing
