Since the official Duluth Cruise seems to have failed to materialize I figured we could still do an un-official Duluth cruise. Meeting time would be around 11:00 AM @ Black Bear Casino Leave time would be about 15-20 min after everyone shows up, so, lets say 11:30 or so. I figure we could cruise out to Bayfield, WI and then to Ashland, WI and back. It will be a beautiful fall day tomorrow and Be nice for a final event for us northerners. Any other input is appreciated.
Black Bear has ample parking and is a neutral location. Convenient for a buzz thru Jay Cook on the way out.
Let's just make something happen!! I had to fight hard to get tomoro off! We can always talk more details at Black Bear!!! Hope to see lots of people there!!! And u people from the cities, if u can make it till alittle later we can probably hang out for some time and wait for more turn out!!
TC stangs is coming up tomorrow, hoping to get some cars together for a little fun before the drinking begins. I work until 1:30 and dont want to go to Ashland so for those of you who maybe want to participate in the extraCARicular activities, let me know.
I thnk the bayfeild/Ashland trip sounds really fun!! I'm in for sure! I think the Duluth/ superior folks should meet up somewhere befor heading to to BB! I think maybe the usual Music-Go-Round on Central Entrance seems like a good spot! Say 10:30-11:00 am? YES/NO?
except there is an autox tomorrow at Canterbury and I will be there. Otherwise I'd hit up the cruise!
Alright...sounds good. MGR by 10:30 for the duluth crew, depart from there to Black Bear at 11:00, meet cities ppl at 11:30, discuss route beginning with Jay cook, depart Black Bear at noon or so. See yas tomorrow (today as I look at the time).
Great fun today. Was great to finally meet Jason and thanks much for lunch. Jay Cook was a nice starter road. Gronks was a great lunch. We "found" (by the advice of a friend) a really fun road to drive near Ashland, filled Chris' and Jason's grills with leaves, killed a bird, patronized an ice cream shop in Bayfield, and avoided several deer on the way back on hwy 13. Not a bad way to spend 9 hrs away from the house.
