The paint gun to be exact. I'm taking my subie to the body shop for some clean up work, get the hood repainted the front and rear bumper covers repainted and the front splitter replaced. So here's to hoping it comes out all right! I'll be sure and post pics when i get her back.

Dealer work is expensive everywhere, lol. The problem is you can't go to a cheap place otherwise you get a crap job. You pretty much have to find that needle in a hay stack of a shop that both does top notch work but doesn't actually rip you off. The dealer's not too bad. Most people don't realize how expensive the paint is.

An example is an old car of mine. I got an old Lesabre from a dealership. It looked to be in very good condition, but about a month later the paint started peeling away, hood, roof, trunk. It wasn't suprising as these cars were known to do this(all old GM full-sized cars were painted very thin). It sucked cause I got it right when it started. I wanted to give the car back, but they wouldn't agree to it. Instead they would allow me to paint it at cost. For the hood, roof, and trunk it came out to $500, just for the cost of paint(I'm sure base and clear coat too).
