I usually go every weekend, either Billaird Street (old UB) or Jimmy's Pro Billiards. It's the start of the season, so lets get a bunch of people together.. What size table do you guys play? I only play 9'.
Billiar Street - University & 68th ave or somewhere right around there. - Fridley Jimmy's Pro Billairds - Central & I have no idea what cross road. It's about 15 min from the Home Depot on Johnson St. - Either Fridley or Minneapolis, not too sure.
UB used to be really nice but ever since they expanded it and renamed it they let the tables go to pot. I mean last I was there I played a table that had a divet so deep in the felt I could bank balls off it.
I haven't played pool since the springtime. I have a little pool experience myself. Set a date that fits my schedule, and I'll make it. I prefer the weekend.
Yeah, there are some good tables left still though. After you walk in the 2nd one to the right of the register is good. But I haven't been there for a few months myself. Usually I just go to Eddie's Billairds because it's closer. Even crappier tables there; I won't play a serious game there, usually just there with a girl or two.
How about Shooters at burnsville, I used to go there every wednesday night special. Lot's a table and gurls yo.
Haven't been there for a while. I only went there with big groups, because that's wayyyy too far of a drive to play only a few hours of pool.
I used to live across the street from shooters, played leauge there for a while. I am down for playing there
soo any of you guys decided on a place yet? how about telling us where everyone lives, so we can finda place thats closer to us all. or a place that's closer to the majority.
in st. paul, there's rack em up and el's billards. rack em up is in oakdale while el's on larpanter(spl?) a few blocks away from snelling.
All the places listed have lots of tables, the issue is quality. Who has been to Shooters lately? How are the tables? Me too, let me know if you guys decide to do it in Minneapolis or the west side.
I was at shooters like 3 weeks ago, the were good. my neighbor plays league down there and he says the tables are in good shape. I am up for where ever though.

you are the first to replay, I feel the same way LVT I just relized, next week might be bad for some people beings thanksgiving is next thursday. If it does not pan out this time we can try it again later in the future.
So it sounds like only 2 people are intrested, Are the ones that said they will going still planning on going, or did this plan die?
Did not think there would be to much response for a week night, on the week of a holiday. I had to try though, How about you Tbone, and LVT you going to make it?
