Basically I was wondering why some people recommend getting the uppipes without the egt bung. I've been researching up's lately and some real world experience would be helpful thanks!
If you get an uppipe with a bung and put the stock EGT back in, eventually it will probably fail and you will throw the P0546 trouble code and end up in limp mode. An uppipe without a bung and one of those 50 cent resistors (2.2k ohm, 1/2 W) from Radio Shack just does an end run around all of this. No downside whatsoever.
