I hardwired and mounted my V1 bracket in my car. On the 04 STi's they had a visor above the mirror. The 05's don't have that so I decided to mount my bracket there because there is a plug that pops out and you can put a bolt in. Requires some serious drilling to the bracket. I didn't get a chance to drill through the metal bracket because I went through 2 bits. I just put a large black washer around my bolt and then just slid the bracket in there, so its not perfect yet but it will easily hold, but only until tomorrow when I can go to my buddys shop and drill press it. :-p Also thought I would shoot a pic or two of the DVD player. Sorry about the bad pics.

What DvD is that?
Drill a hole in the V1 bracket. So I could mount it in place of the visor Vic. Its Clarion pro. 2 units, not a double din.
We'll have to hook up so I can take a look at your setup. Where did you move to or are you still behind the the golfing dome off of White Bear Ave?

Will, looks like you're being challenged to produce an image... let's get our photoshop skills together and come up with something
now where did you get a cool idea like that...? (the V1, not the ex-girlfriend thing...) more info here: http://www.imprezawrxsti.com/postnuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=17031 bah link doesn't quite work, try this... http://makeashorterlink.com/?Z1AA25DF9
AUSTIN! you are here! that rocks. I wish I would have known. I spent around 4 bits and 2 hours and finally got through it. The way I got through it was I heated it up first.

I was living down by Mankato though; just moved to Bloomington so I haven't checked out any events yet. btw, my name is Rich; austinpike is just for the forums... I have a couple friends in Woodbury; if you see a grey STi with a WRX wing that could be me... As for that drilling, I'm not sure how I managed, like I said I just went to Home Depot and got the hardest bits I could find. Then just put a lot of weight into it and kept at it; I'm surprised I didn't snap the bit.
Keep an eye out for a black STi with a pink subie badge and a crazy looking white dude driving it when you are in "The Wood".
