so far i have dinner reservations but other then that im drawing a blank. its hard for me to keep thinking of original ideas when theres only a month and a half between christmas, her bday, and Vday. any ideas? what are you doing? ideas from the females in the club?

anyways. back on topic. Dinner better be asian. If she is artsy fartsy, take her to the scultpture garden at the Walker Art center. Or the MIA. Or my favorite The Guthrie Theater for a play, better get tickets fast, or yous screwd, not the good one either. If she is Ms Snooty wooty, take her shopping at Macy's Downtown. If you've got the monies to spend, you can peek in Louis Vuitton. She will probably let you have butsec with her if you bought her one. They are pretty lame but whatever, girls go crazy for that stuff. Or there is a Burberry in the Mall of America, and a Channel in Nordstroms. If she is into physical stuff, take her rock climbing at REI, 15 bucks for life time of endless rock climbing for 10 minutes eachtime you go. That way you can look at her butt too. If she's werido emo take her to uptown and walk around to check out the coffee shops, particularly Tea Garden, there are two or three locations. If she does drugs, take her to Hideway, or Electric fetus. That's all I got for now.
Yea... It doesnt take that long to run out of ideas. Send her flowers to her job, or get her some jewelry and present at dinner. Like if she leaves to go potty drop the jewels on her plate. Or you could just munch carpet/linoleum

Do you have time for the Sculpture Garden/Walker? It's a good place, and if she's too dressed up to be outside you guys can go inside. Then drive up hennipen to Tea Garden and buy yourselves some delicious drinks. (it's not just tea) The only expensive store I can think of around there is Urban Outfitters, then again everything is expensive to me.
ditto on hating valentines day, I just rock at it because I used to force my exes too do this for me. =D lol Mwahaha Girls are good at making guys feel guilty, when they pout, whine, bat eyelashes, and worse of all cry. Trust me I'm good at tantrums.

Hopefulle she likes chocolate? I don't know any girl that doesn't unless they are allergic. And it better be Godiva. Perfume? If she isn't a sensetive type of person buy her a perfume that YOU like. And if she's cool about letting students work on her hair/body get her something at Aveda.
Sadly any gift like flowers or chocolate seem too common, especially for a girl used to nice things. Surprise her with a sweet gesture. It'll show her that you care enough to think of something different and romantic. If you'll be in Excelsior for dinner, maybe have some ice skates rented and go skate somewhere that has lights. (Sorry, I don't know where but I'm sure their are plenty). That could be fun if it's nice out and you wouldn't be out too late. Good luck.

I personally have never cared for valentins day. I feel as a guy no matter what it is or what you do. It is never remembered. Girls never forget the bad things though. I thank god that i don't have to spend a dime now for v-day.
Okay, jewelry, not just any jewelry. Go to Macy's and look for Juicy Couture. If she likes Coach she's gotta like Juicy. Juicy has a line of amazing cute girlie princess like ****. It's good ****. They just came out with a perfume too, 85.00. or be creative and draw her something.
I'm purty sure that Bee's and Amber's advice is teaching me more than the very little i alrdy know about women.
