    This is actually for a model I just got, but I want it to be realistic. sooooo.....

    it's a WRX STi Version VI Type R

    it comes with sweet ass gold wheels, so I want to keep those.

    Blue = overused

    silver = overused, and goofy looking with gold wheels

    thought about yellow, but that'd be a ripoff of Zaks car, and would look really goofy with the gold wheels....

    so I'm pretty much left with Black, Red, or maybe Green. What do you guys think? Any other ideas? keep in mind, I want it to look pretty stock, so no goofy neon colors, or 2 tones. and I've already done 2 models with racing stripes, so I don't want to do that.

    I don't know what the proper colors for this model are but I think the red/gold may look pretty good.

    ^ make it replica of Zaks car. that would be cool. otherwise i believe the main colors for that car were: White, Black, Blue, with a few Red, and even fewer Green. if you want i have a can of spraypaint that has my color green in it. not too much left, but should be enough to paint a model.

    White, of course.

    I once tried painting a model car with a can of Ford Nimbus Grey spray paint from the parts store. The results on plastic were somewhat strange. That can of green paint may not be as good a deal as it sounds.

    Make it RALLY BLUE PEARL. Because then it'll look like a WRX STi Version 6 Type RA V-Limited.

    but the V-limted has a roof scoop, is 2 door, is rally blue pearl.

    The Cashmere yellow was only on the 4door I believe.

    White! there's an idea!

    I do like the Pearl idea.....but I'm not sure if I can find one.

    and yes, most normal car paints don't work very well on plastic.

    Or my favorite color ever on a subie. Steel Blue Mica. It would look sweet with the gold wheels. If/when I ever repaint my STi it will be this color.
