    Hey all,

I noticed a slight vibration in my clutch tonight. It's noticeable from the floor all of the way out. Everything else seems fine, and there is no slippage.

I found some forum posts from other sites, with no specific answers. Some mentioned the throwout bearing, which could be damaged from some "spirited" driving. I did get on it a bit tonight, but nothing out of the ordinary.

If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know.

    Thanks!

In my experience with the throw out bearing, you can hear it when you push in on the clutch. I never felt anything odd when it went on me. Just a bad bearing sound.

It may just be starting then. I heard a little squeal when the clutch was fully out while in neutral, but it went away when I depressed it a bit. The pulsing was present the entire time my foot was on the clutch. I'm not one to believe in coincidence, so...

So is this something created by hard use, or just use in general? I've never experienced it before.

    Car? Mileage?

I had a 2011 WRX and after some transmission service I had similar issues. They told me that it ended up being the clutch master cylinder was out of alignment. It didn't make a ton of sense that they removed the master cylinder to remove the transmission but what do I know.

2013 wrx - 22k. I haven't felt the vibration since that night, but it's still a bit concerning. Car has been flawless otherwise. I guess I'll just keep an eye on it.

It could easily be the same issue I had. Regardless, if the issue comes back, take it in and get it fixed under warranty.

Ya, if I don't feel it again, I'll have them check it out anyway during my next oil change. It feels good to have a car under warranty again.
