Car is an 05 Saabaru 92x aero unmodified with 17" wheels. Car has a terrible vibration between 5-10 mph, than goes away. I put the car up on 4 jack stands and can tell the drivers rear wheel/tire has a wobble once the car is running under load. I put several different wheels/tires on that corner and all have a wobble once mounted there. Nothing is obviously bent/broken to the naked eye back there. There is no play in the wheel/tire or vibration in the spring to suggest wheel bearing. Daughter recalls hitting nasty pothole. Next step? Thanks

I've seen a bent hub on these cars before. It was after an encounter with a curb and not a pothole but not much of a big difference.

It's from all the sideways parking lot shennanigans she does during the winter!

Have you spun the wheel while the car is off the ground? Is there play with the wheel on with car jacked up? Any unusual "mwummmwumwumwumwum" humming? Id check to see if a wheel bearing is blown, check the shaft, and axle nut that it is torqued. Have you had new tires installed and balanced recently?

Also, Cool for owning a Saabaru!

yes to spinning wheels off ground. no indication of wheel bearing. Zero play, no humming. no new tires. I think i am going to replace hub, possibly knuckle as well. Man, I hope that long lateral link bolt cooperates!
