This happened last night. Passenger was killed. http://www.startribune.com/1741/v-video/story/369671.html
... in a buick... i've ditched so many cops it's ridiculous... gran turismo, neighborhood rally style... it pays to know back roads/have a turbo... and not drive a buick it's funny when they pull you over a couple days later... and can't do anything... you would do it too if you lived in my town... the cops are kinda screwy and tend to pull you over for very silly reasons...for example 16 times pulled over no tickets except the 5 exhaust fix its
Tonight I was out and passed a cop on 394 by the 494 interchange and got nailed with a lazer. I was going 55, so not a problem. But after I got onto the interchange this motorcycle comes flying up behind me, and trying to skirt by me. He finally did, and about 5 seconds later the cop came flying behind me and went after him. Jump to a minute or two later, I got off at the exit, and there were 2 cop cars there, and 2 more just pulling up. The guy had crashed. The bike was sitting on the side of the road, and the cops were starting medical stuff on the guy. I got to sit there for a minute because the road was blocked for a bit, and it was definetly not the most fun thing to see. He was hauling @$$ when he passed me, probably going at least 90, probably a lot more. And all for trying to avoid a speeding ticket. (well, probably)
Why do people run? I don't get it. Especially in an urban environment. I'm sure I could run from the cops up here because I have tons of forest to duck into and hide. I've even talked to the cops about it (I play foosball with the washburn police chief). He admits I could run and get away, but I better never show myself in the town again
Not to mention you could take out a family in a minivan or some kid riding a bike... Those of you that run will/should grow up some day.
Most people that run from the cops aren't concerned with anything else except themselves. They don't think of others that could be hurt. They run because they think they can get away or because they have something to hide so they take their chances on running and crashing instead of getting pulled over and busted from the warrant or whatever else would cause them to run...murder, drugs, stupidism, etc.
seriously, get this retard off the forums. Not one single post thats not berating someone else or ego masturbation.
I watched the news thismorning about both of the incodents in this thread... 1. Dumb ass plows into tree: They didn't say why he ran, but he definitely did.. so the cops chased him, and he hit the tree (obviously) but the really dumb part is that the driver is out there claming that the cop "tapped" his bumper and spun him into the tree. Hence, the hurry to get the dash cam footage out. i still remember his fat mom being interviewed by the news "he said that Mother F***ing pig tapped his azz and sent him into the tree! it ain't his fault!" Right... must be that new 50ft "azz tapping" pole all squad cars are equipped with now... 2. As for the motorcycle.. yup. he ran because of a speeding ticket. he slid out and lost control.. wound up in the ditch injured so bad they had a helicopter land on the freeway to pick him up. Supposedly he's suffered no fatal injuries. P.S. +1 for deuche banning..
Man, that video obviously shows who's at fault. That felon who just killed his passenger will live the rest of his afterlife burning in hell. No doubt about it. Angusracer, do not think for a second that anyone here will step in and back your sorryass up. Continue to think that and I'll happily piss on your tombstone at your funeral. You're eligible for the Darwin Award; keep it up and you'll earn it. Fate will catch up to you if you don't stop it now.
^^Oh no, please fongus don't say any talking shizzle, because when you talk smack, the mic strike back!!!
When I was younger and much more stupid I had ditched police 6 times back when I used to have a slow crappy handling car. I didn't think much of it until like you said, it's about others and not yourself. I was alway sober cab cause I didn't want to get into a car and have them kill me. When I tried to talk someone out of driving drunk I told them that they could kill a family cause of their lack of responsibility. Then I realized I should slow down on the highway and pull over if I see the lights. I'm 30 now with kids and that was a long long time ago to me. You are 100% right.
well you see.....I tried.......but I stopped. I guess it's a natural action to run from danger....that's how I saw it....then of course I realised that it was no no......and so I stopped.......As well as I felt my brakes fading..... but eh...we live and learn......some people learn the hard way.....
