Anybody either have or know much about this upgrade package? Sounds like a really great price to get around 300whp. I don't really mind the fact that it comes with a VF34 (I was thinking of going with an FP Green), since the USDM EJ20 can't reliably handle power gains much greater than the VF34 can supply. If any of you have opinions or information about this package, please let me know.

Vishnu stuff is not competitively priced, in my opinion. For a VF34 you would be better off getting injectors larger than 550cc (there are some people locally who can attest to this). The XEDE is probably a fine engine management solution but I only know of one person locally who has it, and he drives an Evo...so what I'm getting at is that there is a much smaller user community for it, if you think in terms of support.

I'm going to do some very liberal rounding here on how you could piece together the bits to make the same kind of power their Stage 2 kit would make, if not more.

$1000 for some management/tuning (UTEC, ECUtek, Cobb StreetTuner)
    $1000 turboback exhaust
    $700 turbo
$300 injectors (figure on needing 600cc minimum to get the most out of a VF34 or larger turbo)
    $100 fuel pump

Thanks a lot for the quick reply- exactly the kind of info I'm looking for. That seems like a better route to go, a lot more people around to help with the UTEC. I live in central MN... if any of you guys have shops, we should get together and talk :D. I want to get a plan together for my car and then do it early this summer. Originally I had planned to install this stuff with the help of some friends, but since none of us have really worked on scoobs, I think I'd rather pay somebody to help get it right. Like I said above, if you are able to help me get this done let me know (also give the approx. install cost)
