    silly Rich, Onion is fake.

This makes me :mercy: We ALL grew up on his music. It's still good, no matter how crazy he became.

Yeah, he was for sure an icon. They didn't call him the "King of Pop" for nothing.

Even if he was crazy. RIP.

I remember when I was a little kid my parents had Thriller on vinyl...one of the best songs ever. Crazy or not way more talented than pretty much anyone out there today.

How old was he? And why did he die? Someone dying in their 50's doesn't seem right.

My ex bf's dad died at 51. Then again, he drank JD's every single day to excess.

I'm guessing someone finally left a mirror out and he saw his reflection.

It's sad, he really was talented but deeply troubled as well. I'm thinking that his numerous surgeries had to have something to do with this. That much work will really affect your body in a negative way.

    RIP Michael and Farrah

Most good artists of their genre are f'd up in the head.

I.E. Kurt Cobain (suicide), van Gogh (Cut of his own ear), Edgar Allen Poe (Found roaming the streets not wearing his own clothes screaming "Reynolds!" the night he died)

I'm sure they all had one thing in common to cause the crazy, drugs.

His music is definitely legendary and if wasn't played out before, will be 10x now (at least for the next few months)

As I left work today, I could hear it echoing in the streets of downtown Minneapolis.

A quick tribute with an awesome commercial.

Yea that's right, that little boy playing MJ is in fact Carlton Banks from the Fresh Prince.

And I've already seen at least a dozen jokes already today. Some are a bit out of order, but one or two have been kind of clever...

"Doctors are still trying to find out whats to blame for Michael Jacksons heart attack. So far they have ruled out sunshine, moonlight and the boogie. Some think it could be hereditary originating from the Billy gene."

    i heard one today.
so farrah fawcett dies and goes to heaven. when she gets to the pearly gates god meets her and says "farah, because you have lead such a good, wholesome life i will grant you one wish." she thinks about it and replies "i want to save the children." two hours later michael jackson shows up.
