Personally not a fan of these swaps without proper rear flares which requires a large chunk of money. It's also too bad subaru shorted all of us wagon owners on the flare side of the wrx styling but if done right (low, wide wheels, meat) I do believe the non-flare of the wagon looks better than when converted. But this is a free world, and as we all (or some of us know/understand..) to each their own.
Lol no worries everybody has there opinion. I truly love the front end sway with some nice fat tires/rims on it. But I do have to agree the rear is just not right its missing the body lines like the front that's why I have to figure out something soon without doing the whole rear end swap$$$$
i agree it'll need something for the rear to compliment the front flare, also it's hard to see in the pic since it's dark and doesn't show the back side of the wagon enough.
yeah, i dunno, to do it right you'll probably need to enlist a decent bodyshop to do something (graft some sort of flare in or something) i can't see anything cheap that wouldn't make the car just look bad. I haven't actually looked for anything like that. I had a wrx sedan before and i just picked up my wagon ~two weeks ago. searched around a bit, and everyone quotes about 6k to do it right so it doesn't look like ass. The cheapest option would be to have rear fenders rolled/pulled without having a body person graft in sedan rear fenders. i'm not sure if it is worth it. i suppose it depends how much it bothers you. I'd probably put the money in some engine mods to get more but reliable power, a tune, and get some handling upgrades (sway bars). the rest of the money i'd sink into the driver... get some skills learning from a good instructor, save for track day funds.
