Walbro fuel pump noise?

I'm going to be upgrading the fuel pump on my '04 FXT and was wondering if anyone with a Walbro 255lph has had any noise issues.

A Denso pump costs 2x as much but is suppose to be quieter, so I'm trying to guage whether the need for a Denso is justified or not.

 

i believe the noise is just the fuel pump starting up before you actually turn your car on. it takes like 3 seconds...but thats it...at least mine. Thats the only noise that i hear it make

 

You have to be super paranoid to hear the walbro fuel pump or I just never have my music quiet enough. Go with the walbro and save the money

 

Thanks for the feedback. It may be a moot point anyway given any noise would be a relief from my kid's Wiggles CD and having cheetos thrown at the back of my head.

I was worried about this before i got mine. Installed it and i cant even tell a difference in noise from the OE pump. Personally i would say just go for it.

 

if you guys take your seats out and drive around you can DEFINITELY here it running.

 

yes even my sti pump is loud as hell with no seats
