Hello MNS, I'm David, if any of you have been to a C&C show you've probably seen me with my microphone (it lives in a big grey furry thing). Anyway, myself and a fellow local sound designer, Damian Kastbauer, are starting a research project on sounds in modern racing games. We'll be doing some critical listening on a handful of modern console racers, and we would for our own reference appreciate the opportunity to get a listen to the real deal. Of the games that we are testing, there are only a handful of cars that appear in all of them, one of them of course being the STi. So, here's the deal. Other modifications don't really matter much, but we're looking for anyone has an STi with a mildly modified exhaust (I'm thinking catback or turboback or whatever you call it), we would really appreciate the opportunity for a spirited ride. I can cover gas cost for you. Preferably an '08-10 GD/GH but older or newer is fine. If anyone is interested, we're looking for either this Tuesday evening, or possibly Saturday.
