Really want some Tein Basic coilovers, but dont want really want to spend that much $ just on springs/struts

my question is, what spring handles better

    PRODRIVE

    or..

    Eibach Pro-kit

From what I have seen the Eibachs lower more, but I heard that the prodrives are PIMP springs when it comes to handling.

i dunno about the wrx but for the GC's, the prodrive are stiffer than the eibach. the stiffer the better the handling.

I would say just get some nice tires, maybe some Falken Azenis. Its alot cheaper the coilovers.

eibach's are a progressive rate spring while the prodrives are not. I'd go with the prodrives if i were you, that's what i'm going to.

The Prodrives are a better spring imho. You can't go wrong with 'em.

overall they are the same manufacturer. the prodrives are spec'd and made for them by eibach, so i'm assuming that quality of both are equal. Again its the specs of the springs themselves: the progressive rate vs. linear, the drop, spring rates, etc.
And from the specs, teh prodrives are more "performance" spec'd than the eibachs are. at least that's my conclusion of it.

what do you want the car to do?? i would do the front and rear anti-roll bars first, then get into springs.

simple and possibly the cheapest solution:

Prodrive springs can be found all over for <$300, i've seen for $279 in a few places

    Cusco 22mm Sway bar ~ $150

+ you'll need some endlinks for the sway bar which i've seen range from $50-$200 for a pair.

there you go, decent handling, drop, and price. Everything under $600

Mmmmm.... (9k/9k with custom valving) Combine with a 22-24mm RSB and a 22mm FSB, results in one sweet recipe! Too bad you have an '02!
