want to play hockey

I want to play this afternoon some time. Let me know if you want to play a pickup game.

 

ill be playing up here in fargo, at least until the blizzard hits. you can come up here if you would like.

 

I would like to but thats kind of far. Ill take a raincheck lol. I should add I'm in St. Paul and will be playing either in St. Paul or Blaine areas for the locals.

 

what exactly is a pickup game???

 

Get some people together, make some teams, people come and go and mess around playing hockey. We usually don't have goalies so the 'goal' is smaller, and usually most people aren't wearing pads. More or less just an informal hockey game.

I have to get some skates but I would be up for playing some hockey. I have not skated in about 8-10 years, but once you learn how you never for get.

I will go and see if I can get some skates today.

 

I'm in shoreview and am planning on playing tomorrow at northoaks, we are trying to get a handful of people together. Northoaks rinks open along with the warming house. Shoreview community center rink and warming house open monday(I have the day off!!!) I'm down to play whenever.

 

bill, i just called to see if you were planning on it today, I'm going to go in about an hour or so around here. anyone else that wants to go, i'll have my phone on sixonetwo 703-8087.
not sure where we're going to go yet, but it will be around the st. paul/roseville area.

I don't know. I stopped by there last night and it was closed but i talked to a kid that just happed to be there, said he was working sunday and thought that was the first day they were open.

 

Were looking to play tonight in Shoreview. It's going to be cold but once you get playing it's not too bad. Everyone is welcome.

I'm totally down often - and I work in Shoreview on Lexington Ave just south of Cty Rd E, so it sounds like I'm near you?

Unfortunately, I'm never free until 5 or 6pm.

 

I usually work until then as well as most of the people I know near by. So it works out pretty well. I'm down to play tonight if anyone is willing to brave to cold.

 

Probably too chilly for me tonight - especially since I didn't bring anything warm to wear. Or my skates. lol

But I'm definitely up for playing often. I'll have to google the location of that Northoaks rink. You play there usually?

 

Either there, shoreview community center, shamrock. There are are about 5 rinks within 2 miles from me.

I created a map of most of the rinks around shoreview/roseville. I'm sure there are more but those are the ones I could think of my head. I think people can add to the map, so feel free to do so if you know of other rinks.

 

Anyone want to play Thursday night. My girl and I are going to be at the shoreview rink probably around 6ish. Suppose to be 20 and nice!
