or maybe just the tower thingy's. I've got a gutter mount yakima system on my blue lifted wagon, and I am going camping next week with my girlfriend and her family. we want to bring our bikes, but my only running car is a legacy. it has factory roof racks, but I would like to get the necessary equipment so I can use my yakima bike racks on the roof of the legacy...anyone have them? and willing to let me use them? I can pick them up at firestone next friday, or we can set up something else. I'd be willing to pay, whore out labor, buy beer (when I get back, I turn 21 while we're there) or pop or pizza or something.

I am in the process of selling my system. If it is not gone I have no problem with you using them but I do not think I will be a Firestone next week. I live in Buffalo so this may be difficult. Also today I am going out of town and tomorrow I am working at a tri in Annandale. Next week I will spend most of the week in Brainard(sp).

I'm staying at my parent's place in Maple plain this week, so it would actually be easier than you think....

I'm going to our lake cabin in Alexandria this weekend, but should be back on monday sometime.

I took a glance at your system, but I'm not really sure what's needed...that will clamp onto the stock rack, and has round crossbars so I can use my older yakima bike racks....maybe fairing too?

Well maybe you should just stop by on Monday. I should be here mos to the time. I have single bike rack on my system so maybe that would help too. As for getting it onto what you have I don't know but you could take a look if you want.

No idea if these would work, but we have a set of Thule (I belive) crossbars off of my wife's old Volvo. They appear to have a very generic/universal clamp and would attach to most racks.

They are square, however, not round.

Free if you can use them and can pick them up (So. Mpls).

I just thought of something. I wonder if you could mount the Load Warrior on your car without any other adapters. Its brackets are a bit different and might just bolt up. I think I can mount the bike rack to the Load Warrioir. I have a few things to do today but they are around Buffalo so I should be here.

you can also see the system I have on my blue wagon in the background. gutter mount towers that definately won't work on the legacy.
