Talk to AWDImprezaL, he has a very stout 2.2N/A that he turbo'd.

PM awdimprezal or readymixx, they should be able to give you a lot of direction on this project.

There are several companies out there which sell bolt on turbo kits for the 2.5l which will work hand in hand with your 2.2l. Rallitek sells the AVo kit, theres FAT, and a few others. i have yet to hear a bad rap about any of these kits.

if you want to piece together a kit on your own there is a little bit of research involved. do you want to use the legacy turbo x-member or just have a custom uppipe? do you want stand alone EM, piggy back EM or no EM? How much boost? What price range are you looking at for parts?

    good information:

as for the auto -> manual conversion. you will need tranny, clutch, shift linkage, pedal box, matching rear diff (depends on tranny, might be able to use the old one), drive shaft (unless going 6spd), cables and a few other things.
