or parts to make them. I'm ok with pulling junkyard harnesses (rather not go to the trouble....). but don't like the idea of junkyard motors. anyone got a decent 22e sitting around?
^ Ryan had a EJ22E swap sitting in his garage. I have various parts of a EJ22E swap laying around. mainly 2.2l short blocks.
In spite of you not liking junkyard engines I'm gonna mention that last time I was at Calvary Auto Salvage there was a 98 or 99 OBS there that was in decent shape. The car was actually in really good shape except for the moderate front end damage and blown airbags (I think they were blown if memory serves me well). It hit whatever fast enough to damage the hood and fenders but not enough to do any damage to the engine. Worth a drive up there imo. The hood scoop is missing from it though. I believe the scoop got bought by a member with a hail damaged car and a cracked hoodscoop, painted black, and put on his car.

yeah i have the 96 2.2 single port exhaust. complete motor i also have the entire harness and ecu for it also. i suppose i don't really need the extra motor, even though the ice racer is boosted now.
^ if you need everything that's fine too, i know my local junkyards have somme 2.2s so if i blow something i can get another easily, that way you would have the complete motor and eveerything. let me know, no rush here.
ok, I think I'll plan on using your stuff for John's XT.....and I'll keep my eyes open for another one before spring.
FYI: Ryans motor swap maybe missing a few random hoses. Which may or may not be being used to make the turbo work on the L.
