for some experiments. this is 5th gear out of essentially any subaru 5-speed from a turbo car (or a FWD Legacy 5MT). won't be holding up to a whole lot of power, so it need not be in perfect condition, as long as it doesn't make noise. so, any of you who've blown a lower gear, or gone to PPGs still have their old gearset? maybe you people with shops that might deal with them..... and yes, I'm willing to buy a whole tranny. but I'm not paying fully-functional price.
