WANTED: someone to mount tires

    Just got some rims. I need to have some tires mounted. I'll be grabbing the tires this weekend. Can do the mounting after Saturday... Anyone?

    If you've got a Sam's club membership, give them a call. The location here in Duluth does tires for $9.50 each, with valves and disposal, and they don't care about tire size. I've heard this is not true, however, at all locations.

    I don't think the Sam's club near me has mounting equipment. I think they just sell tires. I'll look.

    Tires for Less in Fridley on Osborne Rd. I know it's a ways from you, but they do good work on the cheapy-cheap.

    Well... apparently, his machine doesn't do reverse mount very well. I believe I will have bare rims after this and still need tires mounted. Anyone close to Burnsville that can help?

    Geez.... I guess 225/40/18 AND reverse mount is a problem for 90% of the shops out there. Discount Tires wants $15 per rim to mount and $10 to balance.

    Tires for Less is in Minneapolis as well. So far the winner, but still higher priced than I'd hoped.

    Just cough up the cash and pay for it you cheap ass :) seriously, as I told you Discount does quality work (AV store) in my opinion and I am sure they would take care of you in the future. They treated me well after my first purchase and then they did a lot of freebies for me.

    ^^ Screw that. They want $140 to mount 4 tires. I'd rather pay someone on the board some cash on the side. Everyone wins.

    i can mount with our shop machine, but cant ballance. its for our rally tires...

    Just bustin your chops. Maybe you should buy a tire mounting equipment, since you change shoes on your car more often than a hooker changes her shoes during the week. LOL Good luck, I hope you find someone to help you out for a good price.

    At this point I'm scheduled to head to Rochester to see Brad. Get some tires mounted and hang out for a bit and talk vacations after that. I will post any further needs.
