Wanting to buy a WRX- Some ????

    Iam in the process of selling my RSX and looking to buy a 2004-2005 WRX.

    How do you guys like your cars?
    Any mecanical problems with them, and anything I should look for when purchasing one?

    Good luck on your sale! I'm pretty sure that there isn't much about the Subarus that you wouldn't like.

    I have an 02 WRX and love it! The only problem that I've really had is the front wheel bearings from all the hard cornering.:yumyum:

    Other than that, most maintenence stuff is pretty much the same as every other car out there. If you are the type of person to use "preventative maintenence", you shouldn't have any issues.

    I'll keep an eye out for a 04/05 for you.;)

    Quick, fun to drive, good aftermarket support, reliable, damn I hate WRX's. ;) Really, I love my car, especially in the winter.

    I personally would recommend looking for one that has no/few mods done. Unless you like trying to figure out whether or not your______ is stock or after market. Working on my car is like a treasure hunt, never know what previously unknown mod you're gonna find, or missing bolt/poor install.

    Other than that you should be pretty happy with it as long as you do the basic preventative maintenance like Josh said.
