I see lots of green tape there; I wonder what you have in store for us. It would appear to be a blue cow at first, something like a Subaru/Gateway. LOL Well what ever the case maybe, I can't wait to see the finish product, looks intriging.

Shibbs-that looks like Robinhood's car. I am picturing a redhead going around in tights saving the poor, hopefully you're not just using bow's and arrows these days. LOL But you're right, that is a lot of green tape. I am curious though how difficult it was to remove it and if you had to use something to clean off sticky residue from the tape? I might have to try that just for kicks, but I promise it won't look anything like a crime fighter's vehicle in tights. LOL Its the Renaissance season, I just couldn't help it. I like.....

looks like a kid tried to tape the globe and all the continents on your car.. i hope when its painted the camo job looks smoother.. waiting till the end to say anything cause things usually turn out a lot better

^^^ lol yes.... i'm not clearing in the tape lines lol to better understand what i'm doing.. I have masked off shapes in order to paint inside them with clean edges... or torn edges rather for a pre determined look. I will then pull the tape after painting, remask off the the design.. do it again. well I wanted her done tonight, but I overslept... and sleep is more important then crunching on a deadline. she'll be done tonight, but chancing fresh clear in a possible rainy situation isn't going to happen. but she will be at uni next friday. im heading back over to the shop again now to get back to work on her. will keep you posted. taras.... yes, I paint. -.-
ask and you shall receive... im tired... and finally at home to rest in a real bed Mmmmmmm heres some progress pics and good times from shop shenanegins. shibbs swung through and brought be dang good donuts.... but the evil villan nate took the only chocolate non cream filled ::out:: then a bunch of friends swung through un-expectedly and had good fun. on with the pics. and finallly..... oh good god finally.... the painting has begun!!!!!!!! this is the first color blue, just a few shades darker then OEM and it's just an all around sexy color.
Your help has a wonderful smile. I eager await the results. I am also interested if you do paint yourself?
after arming myself with my trusty weapons the final coat of dark blue went on tonight... and shes looking sexy and for those of you who still have no freaken idea what i'm up to... good but heres an idea of the 3 colors involved. this is NOT clear coat, but simply wax/grease remover on the hood scoop. it was my experimental piece, so there was some left on there from the lighter color I liked. so this should give you an idea on the color scheme....
