So, question would a wheel bearing be covered under extended warranty or as normal wear. For 15 wrx 44k miles. Yes, it is modded only jpipe, intake, ebc.

More than likely, no. The full warranty ends at 3yrs/36k and the warranty to 5yrs/60k is drivetrain (engine/trans) only. Doesn't hurt to ask the dealer though, instead of "the internet" lol.

    He said extended warranty.

Depends on which plan you bought I assume.

Wheel bearing is possibly 60k. That's the factory coverage on my 13 crosstrek.

I have the extended (gold? I think) to 100,000 miles, and it is also covered under that for a $100 deductible.

Took mine in at 48k, they said it was fine. Made the same noise for 8,000 miles. At 57k and a new set of tires they looked again and replaced it. Saying "oh it was obvious it was bad" I was less than thrilled. Because as I said, it made the same noise for that long. But I got it done and now it's much better.
    That's my experience.
