Yes, we just moved. Yes we're moving again. Right now we live in the Chateau in Dinkytown: Student housing, crappy neighborhood, crappy, LOUD, obnoxious, drunken, beligerant, stupid, college frat boy neighbors. Not the best place to raise a kid. Anywhoo... We found a beautiful place in downtown St. Paul! Hey! I sometimes work for the company next door, Minnesota Life, but I mostly work at their off site building across the river. Are you going to work in downtown? How bad is parking costs?
We'll pay $65 a month for parking below the building. That's a garaunteed spot but not a designated spot and any one can park in there, it's a public lot as well. I work in Hopkins right now. On the other side of the world. Hopefully, I will soon work in Methodist hospital in St. Louis Park.
That's a great deal! Minnesota Life charges it's employees and public $140 for a month for parking. I don't see why it's so expensive. So, if I want to get a month's parking, would I have to contact the rental office on the skyway level? By the way, my co-worker loves the chinese restaurant at the Galtier Plaza building. He will only eat at Chinese restaurants when the cook only speaks Chinese. Great food there, too.
I love Chinese...mmmmmm Cool I'll definitely have to go there! I'm not sure exactly, you may have to live in the complex to get the deal. :???: If contacting them doesn't work, I'm sure you can pay me the 65 and I can pay for an extra spot during the month/months you need. This is all hypothetical now, I haven't heard back on whether we got the place yet. We applied this weekend and should here back soon. :I I'm nervous....
