Anyone in the Northern Suburbs (Forest Lake Area) know of any nice wedding ceremony sites beyond what a google search of the area will return? Anywhere within 20mins of Forest Lake will work as well. Thanks!
Might want to PM TonyM he might know some places sence him and Annie have been working on their wedding stuff
Yeah Tim, I'm not sure about all the way up there. It was easy for us to find a place to get married because we always knew it would be our church. OP, sorry, I cant help you on that one.
Stillwater Historic Courthouse was very nice, cheap, and we were able to do the ceremony and reception in one place. It was perfect. I think it was about $1200 to have the place for the entire Friday, 8am to midnight. http://www.co.washington.mn.us/info_for_residents/parks_division/historic_courthouse/ Built in 1870, very cool inside and out. The only limiting factor is 200 max capacity, but that was plenty for us.
Not within 20 miles, but this is where mine was and I highly recommend it for the garden photos and awsome historic church and other structures. http://www.littleloghouseshow.com/
Here's where I got married: http://www.bayviewevent.com/ Not super close, but I figured I would just throw it out there.
My buddy had his wedding there several years ago. It was a great place with an awsome view! I had some good times there. Got pretty wasted too. lol
I'm not sure if you're looking for a reception site as well but this is where I'd go if I had to do it all over again....It's in Brooklyn Park and I'm not sure if they could do the actual ceremony there or not but you should check it out. P.S. I chose it because I absolutely fell in love with Scotland when I went there to golf and do some educational sight-seeing http://www.edinburghusa.org/weddings.html
how can there not be enough..its ur daddys cabin it has everything! wish I could help ...why does it have to be near forest lake??
The Historic Courthouse in Stillwater MN is really nice. It may be a little further away from Forest lake then what you were looking for though. http://www.co.washington.mn.us/info_for_residents/parks_division/historic_courthouse/wedding_and_special_event_rentals/
Family members own an event hall there, and it will be the reception site. Trying to avoid a long drive.
