The lady friend and I are going subie shopping this weekend. This is her car so I'm not allowed to mess with it. Any Subie sales people on here? I would love to support a fellow MNSubaru person. We are looking for a Crosstrek, Forrester or Outback We live in Uptown and dont mind driving to visit Thanks in advance!
Talk to Scott Putnam at Morries Minnetonka. There are other decent sales people there too, but can't recall who gives the best pricing.
Crosstrek...drool!!! Don't go to Bloomington Subaru though (long story I don't want to put on blast). I've heard great things about Morries.
If you are willing to travel, I can get you in contact with a good guy at Muscatell Subaru in Moorhead. Never hurts to shop around. Let me know and I can PM you info.
You can talk with Nate at Bloomington Subaru. He has given me great deals on 2 cars so far. If you go there, tell him Dustin with the white wrx sent ya. (I get nothing, just think he'd be more willing to give you a good deal)
Not to get off topic, you never know what your getting with a used car no matter what kind of a inspection a vehicle goes through private party or through a dealer. Its just par of buying used anything.
I used to work for a Morries, while I don't necessarily have anything bad to say about buying there they are a one price store. St. Cloud Subaru is a negotiating dealership and they usually had store incentives/rebates, something subaru doesn't offer often, that would always spank Morries prices. So I'd say price wise check out St Cloud, but if customer service trumps price for you ask for Bruce if you go to the Brooklyn Park Morries (if you ask nicely he'll even whip out his guitar and sing for you . To get the best deal the 2nd to last day of the month is the best day to buy anywhere you go, that's the day managers will be most willingly to give discounts to make quotas. GL!
Nice ride! My wife actually wanted to see an orange one. Just curious, who helped you at Morries? Thanks!
I liked the orange but Im glad she went with the black one. It looks great. We worked with Mike Bakeman. nice guy. Pretty funny
