I'm out tongiht for work dinner... Just wanted to mention the minion and I tried Tavern Grill this week and it was pretty decent (if expensive). Probably can handle a crowd without much difficulty.
Wait, the one on Central? They have a new location? Will def want to hit that up eventually (soon). The one in NE is legit.
Its inside the mall, by the door we walk past to get to Chipotle usually. It replaced the italian joint that used to be there.
Damnit... probably means expensive rent... and revised (mall) menu and prices. Food at the NE location is/was at a good price point. I'll stick to La Familia Tapatia by my house.
Right across from Big Bowl? I'd check on that. Last time I was at the mall there was no Mexican restaurant there. There was one, but it seems to have closed, unless it re-opened.
I was there a few weeks ago and it was open. Had a few beers there. Just googled and said it was there.
To add to the confusion. The new Mexican place replaced a different Mexican place. The old Mexican place (not to be confused with Ol Mexico) probably replaced the Italian place you mentioned earlier.
No, the one that closed down was Rojo... that place was terrible. Maya is a NE joint that's expanding according to http://www.citypages.com/restaurant...ening-two-new-twin-cities-locations/449336223
Ah, got it. Yep, Rojo was it. Wifeperson and I enjoyed it the couple times we went. Either way, down to try the new place soon.
Quote of the night: Waitress-"Oh, we have a new cook in now..." Me- "I can tell..." (after ordering and having slightly not correct.) Also, i can feel my guts churning @idget . I think I am going to die today...
