I've been lifting 4-5 days per week...is that good enough of a stat?;)

actually I've been focusing mostly on cardio, but lift everytime I workout

maybe you should post up some stats yourself fella

    Stats, huh?

Not a powerlifter, but I lift 3x a week and do cardio on the off days. Been lifting regularly like that for about 6 years now.

http://www.magiccitymuscle.com/ <---i am the only colin listed on the page. They also have a picture of me:p

today i worked up to a set of 2 500lb squats. lots of lunges, and some calf work.

I'll say it again, you're a freakin' monster.

Colin comes to my house to get Aegis' old wagon. And when he steps out of the truck I almost wanted to just give him the keys and run the opposite direction.

aww, come on, i was friendly enough and I have all my shots.....also i managed to not stare directly into her cleavage for more than a polite amount of time which is very hard.

ps: said wagon gets to be my test dummy for all sorts of 4130 chromo test welding and attemps at welded "old porsche" style fender flairs next month. yay

yeah, so they pretty much leave nothing to the imagination and they are required. We all pretty much wear as tight of underwear as possible, mainly because of the horror stories of someone flopping nuts between the bar and thigh.

but yeah, At the end of a deadlift, it's basically "Hey everyone!!! LOOK AT MY NUTS!!!" All the grandmas swoon.

I've just started getting into lifting since I just moved back. When I was in colorado the only gym we had was at a rec center and it was ungodly expensive so I did it for 3 months last year but wasn't nearly as motivated as I am now.

Plated Leg Squats I'm at 18 plates for a max, going for 22 as a max since my legs were already burnt. We will see.

i train in fargo, out of Academy of Combat Arts (associate school for MMMA)
all instructors are trained out of there. If i feel up to it/get the ok from my instructors, I will be fighting for either the M.A.X. fights promotion, or Dakota Fighting Championship. Both promoters are friends, so it will be more like who can get me a fight that won't be a massacre either way. lol

Earlier this year I was doing a lot of heavyweight routines. I was deadlifting about 385, benching 285, squatting near 400 (on a smith machine, though), and working out with 85 pound dumbells with the shoulder press. I was kind of poofy (my word for my body) so I started looking at other training regimens.

I drank the Crossfit Koolaid and have been training using their Work-Outs of the Day (WODs) for about 6 weeks now. The results have been pretty amazing. I'm more cut, more flexible, with a much stronger core. I have lost some of my max-lift capability and I'm definitely less brawny than I was 3 months ago but my definition is increasing by the day. I also started eating a Paleo diet so that has helped.

Wow that's pretty good. I used to Kickbox and competed in Teakwon-do turnament over seas. I have not competed for a long time now but practice once in a while. I need a brain for my job and can not afford to get kicked in a head very much. But it sure was fun :)

At the time I only weighed 150 lbs.I would of had the record for my weight class at the time if I would od entered a contest. Now I just lift to get my body where I want it be. I not care for how much I can max at anymore.but about 5 years ago I did my first body building show and thinkin about doin another one

I was actually just in one of those at work here.

10 weeks, no diet pills, and a good diet later, I dropped from 182 lbs to 163.

Last saturday I was at 238 and today I was down to 221. Good eating and jogging on the days that I don't play basketball. And LOTS of water. And I am 6'4'' and definately don't fit in the passenger seat of a subaru but fit just fine for driving. And I am proud of all of you guys that lift. That just seems like way too much work. Throwing cases of pop for work is enough lifting for me and plus it would cut into my video game time :)

a typo i meant MMAA Minnesota Martial Arts Academy. The guys that train me put in their time there. They're an associate school you can actually link to the ACA page from the MMAA page.

yeah give me two weeks notice and I will definitely help. I actually used to work for a professional moving company versed in "specialty" moves. Grand pianos, antiques, mounted and stuffed elephants polar bears, lions. 400 gallon apartment water heaters... even a 5 pip resteraunt WOK once.

So if you really need help, I'd be glad to, i just need a bit of advance notice.

I've never had good metabolism, my brother got it all.

I suggest getting big muscles and facial piercings. Nobody notices my belly anymore. they're too busy hiding their children so I don't eat them.

PS: i rock 13% right now.

    Necrobump!

Alright, I know some of you bozos made it your new years resolution to start working out again! So let's motivate each other to get back (or stay in) shape! Tim? Brian? Mike? Ringo? Bueller?

My new years resolution (same for the last decade) is to party like it's 1999, but I decided a couple months ago to exit my 20's in similar shape to how I entered my 20's... I have a little over a year to lose 15lbs while gaining strength.

Anyway, my strength isn't nearly what it used to be, but I'm mixing in a lot more cardio to balance out the binge drinking and smoking lol

    Currently 5'10" 190lbs (down 25lbs since September) 16% BF
squat: 315 x 3 (my old man knees and recurring hamstring injuries aren't helping)
    deadlift: 365 (see above)
    bench: 335 x 1

    goals for summer:
    squat: 4 plates (405)
    deadlift: 4 plates (405)
bench: 3 plates and quarters (365)
    body fat closer to 10%
