weird noise at high speeds

    well iv noticed that at about 130 or so a howlling noise comes from like the differentials or the tranny or somthing i dont know i was just gonna take it to the dealer seeing as how i still have warrenty but i didnt know how i was going to explain to the dealer that the car makes a howling noise at 130 so if anybody knows what this might be please help

    I love how no one knows what it is! I do it is the mirrors. Its weird sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt. If you wanna check look at nasioc.

    Mirrors. Most definately. And I know the solution...stop doing 130 on public roads. When you drive like a ****head on public roads, everyone single one of us loses.

    yeap.. people always think its better to speed on the long straight back roads.. well lots of animals live in those fieldss.. even hitting a squirel going 120 could be a disaster

    My 6 cylinder makes 1250 lb/ft of torque.
    I'm guilty as well...I was did xxx in a Corvette in Seattle...In my defense, I was on the I90 floating bridges at 3am, where I could see for almost 2 miles straight ahead, and the only animals out would be the fish under the bridge. After that, I just haven't had to scratch the speed itch in public.

    Um, apparently you guys haven't driven on SoCal mountain passes. There isn't much out there but lizards and things of that sort....it is essentially desert land out east of San Diego.
