Welding an EGT bung....?

    Does anyone know where I can get a EGT bung welded onto my new headers? The old cast iron stockers were thick enough to drill and tap, but I fear the stainless of the new ones is too thin.

    go to Nathan at his mieneke. he welded an 02 bung into my SS DP, and the two are very similar plus i tihnk his shop is like 5 miles from your place.

    Also, anyone know where to get one locally? I can buy online, but that is such a waste for a $5 part....

    try napa.. I think they carry universal bungs?!?!? or checker??
