Back on the road for the New Year. Had to use the parts car fender for now

nice, I'm glad it survived!! it doesn't even look too bad. you even had time to paint the 2 tone onto the fenders and bumper!

The bottom of the fender is rusty and the guy I bought the parts car from had covered all the rust with that rust gel that turns it black. He did the outside but the whole underneith was shot so it did do him any good. You guys wouldn't believe the guy drove this parts car still untill the brake line rusted thru. If he would have got hit there would have been nothing to stop him. Pretty scary. Anyway, it was already the correct color and I just found a new fender and ordered it. Guess it will wait till spring and then I will probably have to paint the whole car. Now I just need to get the SVX cleaned up and parked for the winter.

Austin would not have been happy if I didnt fix the car.

Brand New fender showed up yesterday. Think I will wait until summer now and see if I can get the whole car painted when I put the fender on.
