This is Kona, she is a pure breed Akita and she is 9 weeks old wieghing in at 20 lbs!!! she is calm about 90% of the time, then occationaly she get very playfull. never gets out of hand or undiserably rambuctious.
she is so smart... too smart. She has very few accidents, and she kennels up well every night, she puts up about 30 seconds of protest, but she does it.
her mom and grandma are at 95 and 98 lbs..... so I'd say around 93-100 lbs. She is very friendly, but will make a good guard dog. she sit by the front door when ever she is tired or needs to rest. Good duard instinct and friendly nature.
you can kidnape what ever you want, but if you even try to KIDNAP my dog, I will hunt you down and find your tsx and..... THEN YOU'D Really need to get a garage....
ROFL!! Poor Kin! Nice looking dog. Never heard of an Akita before, but they look pretty cool. Any pics of momma? Kind of want to see how big they are full grown...although, 95lbs. does give me a pretty good idea!:laugh:

Akitas are known for their love of cats too.... Apparently they taste great. Might want to make sure there aren't any in the neighborhood or at your place. Nice looking pup though
she was raised in a house with 3 cats... ...for her first 8 weeks.... but I agree cats is some good eating.. (I love cats)
GOT IT! She really tries to think things out, she sits on command all the time now, 100% compliance. She almost allways tilts her head when a person speaks as if she doesn't quite get what you are talking about, but wants to interject.
this other pet forum is crazy, it's like myspace for dogs... its called www.dogster.com people post as if they are there pets and talk as their pets in 1st person, sample sentence, "master took me for a walk today and I tried to walk past the sewer drains with our letting him know I was scared" seriously... I tired to go along with it, but assuming my dogs identity online is just a little more stupid than myspace. people are wierd! I think their dogs would be like "why do you talk like that, I don't pretend to be you" oh gawd... I just did it... I've been infected.
