As most of you know I had heart surgery on the April 12th. Everything went well as far as the surgery but then it did not hold and I wound up in the hospital on the 27th of June. I wound up staying in the hospital for 3 days and thought everything would be fine till I had surgery again, but on August 3rd yet again I am in the hospital. All the times I have been in have been for the same thing. Here is where I need your prayers. On October 15th I go in for more heart surgery. They will have a specialist in the room with my electrophisiologist. (electrician for the heart) They are doing the same thing they did in April minus one procedure so it should be less time on the table, plus they have done it once so there are less "ifs" about it. Just thought I would let you all know. If you have any questions feel free to ask!! Hey bro my prayers are with you and your family. Next time you get out stop by at one of the NorthstarBMW events DCTC or BIR and I'll be happy to give you a ride around the track! It's suppose to help get the blood flowing through your heart! And good luck with the operation, we'll be here when you get back. Definately.
I am holding you to that!!! It can be the light at the end of the tunel. If I do real well and don't cry can I take you for a ride around the track? Also thanks for the well wishes everyone.!!
DCTC absolutely, BIR not possible unless your a registered student. It doesn't take much to scare me so I'll try to keep the screaming down. hnoes: We'll do some Touge action with my BMW friends or even the Ariel Atom if he's there!
Good luck! Bill, if you get bored after your surgery, pray for ME! I'll just be arriving at boot camp sometime around noon
Ah, you won't need any prayers until you get through processing...about three days...then we'll start praying for you!
Best wishes! hopefully this will be the final time they need to go back in. i take it your missing the duluth trip?
good luck man!!! ill hit ya up next time im up in B.F.E. which will probably be next summer. my prayers are with ya!!!!
what hospital r u having ur surgery @? just wondering cuz i work in a cardiology dept @ abbott hospital. good luck with the surgery.
Bill is doing well. The surgery was about 4-5 hours long. The doctor said it went well. They were able to ablate (short circuit) one spot. The spot was right where they repaired last time, so it did re-heal itself. He will most likely be getting a pacemaker/defibrillator in the near future. The doctors want to see him back in about a month and we will make a plan at that time. I have not been able to see him yet, I am sure he will be pretty out of it the til later this afternoon. He should be able to go home tomorrow. Please keep him in your prayers!!!!
Glad to hear things went well Bill! I'll be keeping you and the Mrs. in my prayers. Stay away from microwaves once they get the pacemaker in
G'z I can finally breath now. Thanks for the update, I am glad to hear Bill is doing well. I still owe him that check ride. Hope he get's well soon so he can catch a ride with me before winter. You guys are both welcome to stop by anytime at our events.
Good to hear things went well, Beth. Tell him I'm sorry I missed his calls last night. Doh on me. Best to both of you!
Good to hear things are going well! hopefully its a quick recovery. there should be some sort of celebratory chipotle meet, i thinks.
If anyone wants to call and chat, Bill's room number is 612-775-5239. He could use a little distraction i think.
